Medical Records

Many of our members have found it helpful to review their past birth records as part of the healing process. Once or twice a year, we invite a professional to our meeting to help us decipher and understand what they mean. It is interesting to see how our memories of the birth match up with what is in the charts as well as the emotions brought up in the process of obtaining and reading them. If you’re interested in obtaining your medical records, see below for instructions.

Most hospitals claim to take about 7-10 business days to process requests, so we suggest that you contact them at least a month in advance of our records meeting.
